The Kerosene Hours are the hours between midnight and 4 a.m. — a time when everything feels like a moment between reality and someone else’s surreal dream. The Kerosene Hours is also a project by Los Angeles-based artist Aaron Silverstein and is primarily concerned with scary nights, passionate dreams, cigarettes, mistakes, good intentions, fantasies, the road to Hell, apologies and Downtown Los Angeles itself.
